Founded in 2014, The Michael Brown Foundation, Inc. dba Chosen For Change (CFC) is a non-for-profit which provides community support and outreach programs, activities and events that are responsive, reflective, and holistic for families affected by, or at risk of becoming and/or experiencing grief resulting from the loss of a child due to a tragic unforeseen circumstance.

We believe in finding strength in our restraint when it comes to facing overwhelming trauma. We react with a full heart in healthy and productive manner.
Goal One: Grieving Fathers
To create healthy fathers who are the heads of their households, leaders in the community and positive role models.

To provide an environment, programs and services that nurture children’s and youth’s personal growth, promote wholesome relationships and community development, enabling them to be leaders and positive contributors to a healthier world.
